Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Minnesota chapter, held its monthly lunch focused on Public Policy.  The presentation theme was “How to Keep Minnesota Competitive: A policy discussion with Charlie Weaver.”  The event was hosted at the Windows Over Minnesota room of the IDS tower.   The presentation covered an in-depth look at metrics representing Minnesota’s economy over time.  He also discussed the impact that policy has had on business, community, and the future competitiveness of Minnesota as a region.   Two of the top issues centered on education standards for workforce development and the growing talent gap Minnesota faces in terms of retaining and attracting a skilled workforce.
